Guidance on justifying service-related pay

Mrs Wilson brought an equal pay claim. Her pay was calculated partly by reference to her length of service with the HSE. Although acknowledging that her job was such that her performance would improve after a few years with experience, she argued that HSE's system of applying this over 10 years was not justified.
