A COT3 settlement agreement, the terms of which were negotiated with the help of ACAS, was signed by M and her ex-employer, TLC. It settled equal pay, sex discrimination and victimisation claims brought by M in return for immediate payment of £28,000 and an agreement about providing a reference for her. TLC did not pay in full or provide the reference.
